I cut back the ivy to reveal this man-made  rock face. I had no idea it was there until I saw a plan of the site dated 1907.

Two walnut trees recently stripped of their nuts by the resident squirrel population.

Looking east from Stuffynwood towards the former Shirebrook Colliery spoil heap that has been landscaped and planted by the Forestry Commission. The site was the area known as Warsop Park.
