This portrait is of Lady Markham c1930's. The costume she's wearing is The Order of Women Freemasons in which she was Grandmaster, retiring in 1948. Her title at this time was Lucy Bertram O'Hea, CBE, The Lady Markham.

By the 1920's, Lady Markham had moved the family home to Eaton Square, Belgravia, where her young family were introduced to London's high society. She was remarried to Lt. Col. James O'Hea. who served in the Great War.
